Covid Policy

Covid Policy at Hertford Hair Salon In Hertford

coronavirus safe hairdressers in hertford

The Government has left the decision on whether to continue wearing face masks up to businesses and individuals.

After careful consideration, we as a team have decided to keep wearing face coverings and many of our covid restrictions including social distancing will remain in place a little while longer. We have come so far and worked hard to keep everyone safe and remain open.

We will review our restrictions and policies every 4 weeks and keep you all well informed of any changes.

As an extra precaution, we ask that all clients continue to wear a face covering when visiting the salon.

Thank you for your continued support.

Patch Testing

If it has been more than 6 months since your last hair colour appointment with us, you may still need a patch test before your next hair colour appointment. If you have recently suffered from an illness that affects your immune system, such as Covid-19 or even the Covid vaccine, you may develop an allergic reaction to hair colour. It is essential for your safety that we carry out a skin allergy test in this case.

If you have used a box dye during the lockdown, we will also need to perform a simple patch test to ensure you have no adverse reactions. A patch test should be carried out at least 48 hours prior to your appointment, please call us on 01992 677191 to arrange to pop into the salon for your test.
